Galaxy chauffeur advert csp

 1)The advert is set in 1950s to bring back nostalgia for those people who like Audrey Hepburn's work.

2)The main character/protagonist is being represented ion this advert also the heroine/princess are represented in this advert.

3)The adverts narrative follows Todorov's  equilibrium theory by it having a balanced start and then having something go wrong and a new equilibrium is made .

4)Audrey Hepburn is actor and model from the 1950's who was a big celebrity at the time

5)They selected Audrey Hepburn for this advert because she represented a classy and elegant which is what they are trying to show about galaxy chocolate that it is luxurious.

6)Intextuality is when two conventions in a media genre are put together for example intertectuality is used when two media products mention the same director

7)The roman holiday is the film that is suggested in the galaxy chocolate advert  this affect was created by them showing a clear and beautiful coast line/beach.This affect is created by using actors and props.

8)The connotations of Audrey Hepburn and the celebrity is that they want him to look like Gregory peck the man who did a film with Audrey Hepburn called roman holiday which could connote he two of them being really good partners when it comes to trailers and movies.

9)We can see a representation of gender in the advert towards men that they should be gentleman like and offer people things we also see a gender representation of women with the CGI Audrey Hepburn being heavily made up reinforcing the stereotype of women having to look a certain way.

10)Stereotypes are reinforced with them reinforcing how women should look with Audrey Hepburn and also reinforcing the way men should be gentlemen like and should offer things and it also subverts stereotypes by making  herself the hero and making the man the chauffeur showing that women can also be in higher positions than men .
