 1)our listening habits have changed since 1960 with us now have streaming, music apps, radio, and being able to buy music and can also listen to music through a smart assistant. whereas in the 1960's there was limited ways to listen to music. 2)apple beats launched in 2018 and it is a 24/7 music radio station owned by Apple inc and is accessed on Mac, I phone, I pad, I pod etc and other apple devices. 3)I tunes is an app which you go and by music and Apple music is a streaming service and Beats radio 1 is company and added a subscription streaming service for apple users. 5)Apple chose the three DJ's Zane Lowe because he is a Australian DJ but is known for his radio DJ from radio 1 also Ebro Darden a new York DJ who was known for the popular hip hop music in New York and also Julie Abnuga who is skepta's sister and is know for knowing the grime scene really well. 6) the use of DJ's differ from spotify and other streaming services because spotify is mainly a streaming s

Narrative features also communicate meaning with mise-en-scene and props with April's knives which communicate to the audience that something dangerous is going to happen or a fight is going to happen. 4)

 Historical and social and cultural context 1)BBC radio 1 BBC light and BBC third  2)they reorganised and re named radio light to radio 1 and radio 2  3)pirate radio was and on sea radio which was not regulated by the BBC and couldn't be regulated because it was literally on the ocean and it was so popular because its broad casted lots of popular 4)the law prohibited pirate radio because it was broad casted on seas and wasn't regulated. 5) they attracted younger audience by moving the radio to the internet as more younger people were using it  6)needle time was the rule that you could only play 5 hours of music a day but with pirate radio you could play it all day which

 language and close-textual analysis  1) narrative: the narrative for the episode was based of the girl April and her strange powers which she seems to not be able to control. camerawork:we see lots of close up shots onto April when her eyes glow red,also transition from shadow kin world to Aprils world and shows the connection between them. Editing: CGI used in shadow kin world and glowing blue heart anchor in scene 1. also in scene 3 we see Aprils eyes glow red again with conflict between dad  sound:in the last scene we see non diegetic music used to create  suspense and tension also dialouge repeated by corakinus shows relationship between April and corakinus. mise-en-scene:in the second scene we see mise-en-scene with the american high school and lockers.

 industries  1) BBC three objective at the start of 2016 was to entertain young people and to get more people to watch BBC 3 because at the start it was doing to good. 2) BBC 3 went online because young people changed the way the access entertainment and started to watch online 3)class meets the BBC's mission statement with inform and educate and to entertain because class bring s and audience of a younger background to entertain them and to have a connection with the characters. 4)The distribution of class distributed to its failure because it was aired on BBC three which at the time not many people watch which was why its wasn't as known also because it was a doctor who spin off series  5)The advertising and marketing that was used to market class was that they used many adverts and trailer and had the doctor from doctor who star in some off them hence why i believe the show wasn't marketed properly because it was a spin off show for doctor who and doctor who already had
