 1)Representation in media is the way the media portrays the world it could also mean the way certain media groups are shown to people. 2)Women are being represented, transgender people are being represented, celebrities are being represented. 3)the representation on the closer magazine suggest that women are interested in getting married, dating, babies, health. 4)we see a stereo type in the poster with women being associated with motherhood and having to take care of the children. 5)There is something that subverts stereo type and we see it in the top half of the poster and it says 'UK's first gay dad. 6)The preferred reading of the closer magazine is that women are interested in celebrities and motherhood. 7)The oppositional reading is that women are being represented wrongly because not all women are interested in motherhood an taking care of children. 8)   If it were a male reader they would feel uncomfortable because this poster is main aimed at women and how they live th

 1) Title of publication, central image and colour scheme first I believe that the title of publication is important because it makes it easy for the consumer to see the title of the magazine also because it is very eye catching which is what the company is aiming for. secondly the central image although not all magazines will use this i think its important because it tell your audience what they would expect from that type of magazine and also colour scheme because it makes the magazine look clean and it can also show what type of 'vibe' the magazine is going for. 2)Slogan-we see this at the top of the title of the magazine saying 'celebs... and so much more' 'flash'/cover line/sell line -we see this all around the closer magazine with flash lines saying Posh's baby shock title of publication-we see this in the top third of the magazine the title of the magazine 'closer'  name checks-we see this at the bottom of the closer magazine giving the names
